Richard Kleinfeldt is a Director of Everett Smith Group. He is the former Chief Financial Officer for Giddings & Lewis, Inc., a machine tool maker in Fond du Lac, Wis. He was employed at Giddings & Lewis for more than 30 years in various business leadership positions. He also most recently served as the President and CEO on an interim basis for the Hansen Refrigeration Machinery Company, also in Fond du Lac.
Now retired, Kleinfeldt is very active in the community, including sitting as Trustee Emeritus on Marian University’s Board. He is also a Board Member for several non-profit groups, including the Fond du Lac County Center for Enterprise Development, Fond du Lac Concert Association, Fond du Lac County Economic Development Corporation, and Lutheran Homes and Health Services. He also serves as the Treasurer for both the Fond du Lac-area Beacon Foundation and the Sophia Foundation, a Board Member for the Agnesian Healthcare Foundation, Inc. and as Vice Chairperson of the Lutheran Homes and Health Services Foundation.
Kleinfeldt graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and a Master of Business Administration degree.
